A Roof You Cannot Shut the Building For
Commercial roofs rarely get replaced early. They get replaced once water is coming through onto stock, plant or a production line, and by then the cost of the leak has usually overtaken the cost of the roof.
The difficulty is that the building cannot stop. Whatever happens on the roof has to happen above a business that is still operating, with everything underneath staying dry.
Add in the roof area involved, the drainage carrying it, and the safety and asbestos compliance on an older building, and it becomes a project rather than a job.
Replaced Around Your Operation
We stage commercial re-roofing in sections so only part of the roof is ever open, and the building stays weathertight and operating throughout. The sequence is worked out with you before the job is booked, not imposed on you afterwards.
Where the existing roof contains asbestos, we remove it under our licence and manage compliant disposal as part of the same project, and you receive the clearance certificate at handover. Box gutters, sumps and drainage are upgraded at the same time where they need it.

Where it needs it, yes. On an older commercial roof the box gutters and sumps are often undersized or corroded, and replacing the roof without addressing that leaves the real risk in place.
