Scope of Work
- Full removal of existing roofing material and disposal
- Inspection of roof battens and sarking, with replacement of damaged sections prior to installation
- Supply and installation of Colorbond Klip-Lok concealed-fix steel roofing
- Installation of matching Colorbond ridge cappings and flashings
- Replacement of gutters, fascias and downpipes in matching Colorbond
- Sealing of all penetrations and roof-to-wall junctions
- Full site clean-up and removal of all roofing waste on completion
The Result
The Klip-Lok concealed-fix profile gives a clean, uninterrupted roofline with no visible fasteners, which suits the low pitch and the simple form of the house.
Finished in Ironstone, a dark charcoal, the roof changes the look of the property considerably from the street.
All of the roof plumbing was replaced as part of the project, so the drainage performs as one system rather than a new roof feeding old guttering.
