Water Coming Through the Ceiling?
Water can get into a roof from a lot of different places, including flashings, valleys, penetrations, loose fixings and corroded sheets. The actual source can be hard to find, because the water often runs along a batten or rafter and shows up on the ceiling somewhere else.
That is why leaks get chased for years without being fixed. Sealant goes on whatever looks suspicious, the stain dries out, and the leak comes back with the next heavy rain.
Meanwhile the water is still in the roof, working on the timber, the insulation and the plaster, and the eventual repair bill is a lot more than the roof was.
Find It Once, Fix It Properly
We start on the roof and work backwards from where the water is showing up. In practice most leaks turn out to be at a junction, a penetration, a valley or a box gutter rather than in the middle of a sheet.
Once we know where it is getting in, the fix is the flashing, sheeting or drainage work that actually stops it, not a bead of sealant over the top. If the roof is past repairing we will tell you that instead of selling you a patch.

No. We work on metal roofs only. For a tiled roof you want a tiled roofing specialist, unless you are considering replacing it with metal.
