Taking tiles off a house removes a load the frame was built to carry, which is why some conversions need an engineer and a building permit. We sort out that side of it, cart the tiles and battens away, then install the steel roof and the new drainage. Profile and colour get chosen before anything is ordered, not after.

Roof Repairs
Not every leak justifies a new roof. Flashings that have lifted, valleys corroded while the sheets beside them are fine, penetrations cut in after the fact, and fixings that have backed out are all repairs. What we will not do is sell a replacement to a roof that does not need one yet.

On a wide roof, drainage is the thing most likely to put water inside the building. A box gutter without enough fall or width backs up, and rainheads and overflows that were never sized properly make it worse.
