Most leaks are repairs rather than replacements, at least at first. Flashings at chimneys and wall junctions, corroded valleys, perished sealant at vents and fixings that have worked loose are all fixable without touching the rest of the roof. We will also tell you how much longer the sheets realistically have.

When guttering fails, water goes into the eaves and down the walls instead of away from the house, and that does more damage than a hole in a sheet. Rusted joins, wrong falls and downpipes sized for a smaller roof are the usual causes. Every part of that drainage comes under us, from the eaves gutter to the downpipe at ground level.
