Roof Repairs
Chimneys, skylights, vents and the point where a lower roof runs into a wall are where most repairs end up. A flashing at any of those has to allow the sheet to move and still shed water, and when it stops doing one of those two things it leaks. Those are all repairable on their own, without touching sheets that are still sound.
Gutters, Box Gutters and Downpipes
Plenty of larger homes have a box gutter running inside the roof line instead of a gutter hanging off the edge. When one of those fails the water goes into the building rather than over the side of it, so the falls, the sizing and the overflow all have to be right. We rebuild box gutters, install rainheads and sumps, and replace standard guttering and downpipes. Cleaning is not a service we offer.

When cladding sits under a new metal roof, the two need to be considered together or the wall ends up a slightly different colour and a slightly different profile to the roof above it. We specify both at the same time and flash the junction so the wall drains into the roof drainage properly. Colorbond, zinc, copper and aluminium are all available.
