Tile to Metal Conversions
Swapping tiles for metal takes several tonnes off the roof frame, which makes it a structural change rather than a cosmetic one. Some houses need an engineer to look at the framing and a building permit before the tiles come down, and we arrange that side of it. The old tiles are removed and carted away, the battens replaced where they need it, and the new Colorbond roof laid over the top.

Roof Repairs
Not every roof that leaks needs replacing. Corroded sheets can be swapped in sections, flashings at chimneys and wall junctions can be remade, and lifted or spinning fixings can be refixed while the rest of the roof is left alone. The value in the inspection is knowing which of those situations you are actually in before you commit to spending anything.
Gutters, Box Gutters and Downpipes
Gutters rust at the joins and along the back edge first, which is exactly where nobody looks. Box gutters are less forgiving again, because a failure there sends water inside the roof line rather than over the front of the gutter. We replace and repair gutters, box gutters, downpipes, rainheads and fascia, and we size the drainage to suit the roof above it. We do not clean gutters.

Metal Cladding
We clad walls in the same materials we roof with, from Colorbond steel through to zinc, copper and aluminium. On a rear extension that removes the problem of matching decades old brickwork, because cladding is not trying to match it at all. It also carries a similar lifespan to the roof, so the two halves of the building age at the same rate.
