What Our Customers Say
- Marika Cominos Google Review
I recently had a portion of my roof replaced by VIC Metal Roofing and the guys did a top notch quality job. When I was looking for a roofer, I met with quite a few businesses until I found one that I could feel would deliver with quality and care. When I met Alex who came and did the quote it was clear that his business would deliver. The integrity stood out a mile from other businesses. Not only did they deliver quality, they responded without question to remedy a few small things and were able to fit me in earlier than originally scheduled. Communication with Alex was great with quick responses from start to finish. I would definitely recommend these guys if you are considering a new roof.

Roofing in Oakleigh
Yes. Oakleigh sits in the City of Monash, one of the councils we work across regularly, and we are based in Rowville. Homes and commercial buildings both.
They have to come off before the sheets do and go back on afterwards, and that gets coordinated as part of the job rather than left to you. It is also worth moving the mounting rails onto the new roof properly, because the penetrations through the old roof are a common source of leaks.
It is if it needs doing, and it will be listed in the quote so you can see what that part costs. On an older home the guttering is normally the same age as the roof, and doing it while the access equipment is up costs less than a return visit.
We are, for all of it. Because the roofing, the flashings, the drainage and any licensed removal are in one contract with one contractor, there is no question about whose work it was.
Yes. Shops, offices, apartment buildings, warehouses and industrial units are regular work. Those jobs get staged so the building keeps trading, and we deal with the owner, the owners corporation or the facilities manager directly.
The whole City of Monash, including Ashwood, Burwood, Chadstone, Clayton, Glen Waverley, Hughesdale, Huntingdale, Mount Waverley, Mulgrave, Notting Hill and Wheelers Hill.

Roof Replacement and Re-Roofing
A replacement quote from us covers everything the job actually needs, which is the strip, the disposal, the new Colorbond, the capping and flashings, and the drainage. Where there are solar panels, an aerial or a hot water unit on the roof, the removal and refitting is written into the scope rather than left as your problem. You get one start date, one crew and one final invoice.

Tile to Metal Conversions
A conversion is the job with the most moving parts, which is exactly why having it under one contract matters. Engineering, the building permit where one applies, carpentry to the frame, tile removal and disposal, then the new roof. We line those up in order so the house is not open while somebody waits for a certificate.

Roof Repairs
Repairs get the same treatment on a smaller scale. We find the fault, quote the fix, and carry out the sheet work, the flashing work and any guttering ourselves. If the inspection shows the roof is past repairing we will price the replacement instead and explain why, rather than taking money for a patch that buys you one season.
Gutters, Box Gutters and Downpipes
Gutters and downpipes are roof plumbing, and we are licensed roof plumbers, so this is our work rather than a subcontract. That matters on box gutters especially, where the sizing, the falls, the sump and the overflow all have to be right or the water ends up inside the roof line. We install and repair the whole drainage system including fascia and rainheads. Cleaning gutters is not part of our work.

Metal Cladding
Cladding gets ordered with the roof on a lot of our jobs, which keeps the profile, the colour and the flashing details consistent. We install Colorbond steel as well as zinc, copper, aluminium and brass. On a rear extension or a garage it gives you a wall with the same lifespan as the roof above it.

Commercial Roofing
There is commercial and retail property alongside the housing in Oakleigh, and those roofs come with a constraint a house does not, which is that the building has to keep earning while the work happens. We stage it around trading hours, keep the roof weathertight at the end of each day, and agree access and exclusion zones in advance. Owners, owners corporations and facilities managers deal with us directly.
