Several tonnes come off the roof frame, which can call for an engineer to review the structure and a building permit before the tiles are touched. We manage that, remove and cart away the tiles, renew the battens and install the new roof.

Where a roof is sound overall, repairing the problem beats replacing the lot. Corroded sheets can be swapped out, flashings at chimneys and wall junctions can be remade, and loose fixings can be renewed. We would rather quote you a repair that solves it than a replacement you do not need, and the inspection is what tells us which is which.
