Because losing that weight changes the load on the frame, some houses need an engineer to look at the structure and a building permit, and we organise that before the tiles come off.

Roof Repairs
Repairs suit a roof that is sound apart from a few defined problems, and a lot of roofs are exactly that. Corroded sheets can be cut out and replaced, flashings remade, and fixings renewed. One thing we will not do is patch old asbestos cement sheeting, because cutting and drilling it is not safe work, so on those roofs the honest answer is replacement.
Gutters, Box Gutters and Downpipes
Guttering on an older property has usually been added to over decades, which shows up as mismatched profiles, downpipes in odd places and long runs with nowhere near enough fall. Replacing it as a system rather than a length at a time is what stops the overflows. We install and repair gutters, box gutters, downpipes, rainheads and fascia. We do not do gutter cleaning.

Metal Cladding
Where an old wall sheet has to come off anyway, re-cladding in Colorbond steel gives you a wall that will last as long as the roof above it. We also work in zinc, copper, aluminium and brass for renovation and architectural jobs. The flashings where cladding meets the roof, the windows and the ground are detailed as part of the install.
