Tile to Metal Conversions
Swapping tiles for steel removes a lot of weight from the roof frame, and that structural change is the reason a conversion is not simply a new covering. Some houses need an engineer to look at the frame and a building permit before work starts, both of which we organise. The tiles and old battens are removed and taken away, then the new Colorbond roof goes on with new guttering.

Roof Repairs
Most leaks we are called to are a detail that has failed rather than a roof that has. The flashing where a lower roof meets a wall, a corroded valley, a cracked seal around a vent or a fixing that has backed out will all let water in while the sheets are still fine. We fix the detail, and if the roof underneath is finished we say so instead of charging for another patch.
Gutters, Box Gutters and Downpipes
Gutters have to carry everything the roof collects, and when they cannot, the overflow goes into eaves, walls and ceilings. We replace eaves gutters, fascia, downpipes and rainheads, and we rebuild box gutters where the fall or the capacity was wrong from the start. Clearing gutters out is not something we offer.

Metal Cladding
Cladding puts roofing material on a wall, which is useful where new work meets an older part of the house and matching materials is not realistic. Carports, upper levels and extensions are the usual places it goes. Colorbond is the practical option, while zinc, copper and aluminium are there when the design wants something with more character.
