Metal Roofing in Tremont
We are a metal roofing company based in Rowville, and Tremont is one of the Shire of Yarra Ranges suburbs we travel to. The team accounts for more than 30 years of combined roofing experience.
The work covers leak repairs, replacement and re-roofing in Colorbond, and tile to metal conversions. Roofing on new builds and extensions, metal cladding, and the gutters, box gutters and downpipes are quoted alongside.
Solar, flues and aerials all come off and go back on as part of a replacement rather than being left to you to organise. Contact us to book a comprehensive roof assessment.

Why Tremont Owners Call Us
One trade, more than 30 years of combined experience, and no second string. Metal roofing and roof plumbing is the business, so the roof never ends up as the rushed item at the end of a bigger job.
The work runs from a single house to warehouses and industrial buildings, with Victoria wide travel on the commercial side. A difficult residential roof is well inside that range.
We work licensed and insured, we are members of Master Plumbers, and asbestos roofing is removed under our own licence and disposed of compliantly. 25 Google reviews come in at 5.0.

Roofing in Tremont
Yes. Tremont is in the Shire of Yarra Ranges and we travel to it from Rowville. Send through the address and we will book a time to assess the roof.
We coordinate it as part of the job. The array comes off before the sheeting and goes back on once the new roof is finished, with the mounting penetrations flashed into the new sheets rather than reused. You are not left arranging a second contractor around our dates.
Often, yes. Flashings, valleys, ridge capping and the collars around penetrations can all be renewed individually while the sheets are still sound. If the roof has gone past the point where a repair will hold, we will tell you that instead of taking the smaller job.
Corrugated is fixed through the sheet and has visible screws, which suits traditional rooflines. A concealed fix profile clips to the battens with no fasteners showing and gives a cleaner line, which suits modern designs and lower pitches. We bring both out and show you against the house.
Yes. Warehouses, factories, shops and apartment buildings are a regular part of our work, and for commercial and industrial jobs we travel Victoria wide. The staging is built around keeping the building operating.
All of them in the shire, with Ferny Creek, Sherbrooke, Upwey and Tecoma close by, plus the councils bordering the shire.

Roof Replacement and Re-Roofing
Replacing a roof is now partly a logistics exercise, because most roofs have equipment fixed to them. A solar array, a flue, an aerial and a cooler unit all have to come off in the right order and go back correctly, with every penetration re-flashed into the new sheeting instead of reused. We run that sequence ourselves so there is no point where the roof is open and nobody is available. The roofing underneath is the familiar part: strip, inspect, then new Colorbond with new flashings.

Tile to Metal Conversions
A tile conversion with solar on the roof takes planning rather than improvisation, since the array has to come off, the tiles and battens have to go, and the panels then get refitted to a completely different roof. It is normal work for us and the order is set before anyone starts. The weight leaving the frame remains the structural issue, which can require engineering input and a permit. New battens go on to suit the sheeting, and new guttering goes on with the new roof.

Roof Repairs
Anything that passes through a roof is a likely leak, because it is a hole that was cut and then sealed. Flue collars, vent flashings, aerial brackets and solar mounting feet all sit in that category and all wear out faster than the steel around them. The other complication is that water does not drop where it enters, running along a batten and across a rafter first, so the ceiling stain is a poor guide. We find the source before quoting.
Gutters, Box Gutters and Downpipes
Gutters fail in two ways, and the fix is different for each. A gutter holding water somewhere along its length has a fall problem and will rust at that point, while a gutter spilling over the back has a capacity problem and needs bigger downpipes or more of them. Sealing either one achieves nothing. We set the gutter out properly and size the drainage against the roof area, and we replace box gutters and rainheads where those are the weak point.

Metal Cladding
Cladding is roof material used vertically, so it brings the same durability and the same freedom from repainting to a wall. That is most valuable on upper levels and additions, and on any wall where maintenance means scaffold. Matching the cladding to the roof ties a house together, and running a deliberate contrast is a legitimate choice rather than a compromise. Colorbond, zinc, copper and aluminium are all installed, with the battens and drainage behind them detailed properly.

Commercial Roofing
Large roofs come with details that houses never have. Purlins have to be checked before new sheeting is fixed to them, translucent sheets go brittle and often need replacing with the rest, and box gutters discharge inside the building rather than off the edge. We quote all of that in one scope so none of it reappears as a variation. Commercial and industrial work takes us Victoria wide, and the staging keeps the site operating throughout.
