Flashings make up most of our repair work. The step flashing where a lower roof meets a brick wall, the apron below a chimney and the detail at a parapet all depend on being lapped and fixed correctly rather than sealed, and when they go the water goes inside. Each is a contained piece of work on a roof that is otherwise sound. Where a roof has passed the point of being repairable, we say so rather than taking the job.
