Why Warburton Owners Call Us
Metal roofing and roof plumbing is all this business has ever done, and more than 30 years of combined experience sits behind it. We do not repair, re-bed or re-point tile roofs, and saying so plainly saves everybody a wasted trip.
Our work runs from one house through to warehouses and industrial buildings, and for commercial jobs we travel Victoria wide. A run out this way is part of how we already operate rather than an exception.
Licensing, insurance and Master Plumbers membership all sit behind the work, and asbestos roof sheeting is removed under our own licence. 25 Google reviews of the work average 5.0.

What Our Customers Say
- Avan Barker Google Review
Alex, Ben and Daniel are fantastic to work with. We recently had a full roof replacement done, including the installation of 10 skylights, and couldn't be happier with the result. The quality of their workmanship really stood out; everything was done neatly and professionally. The skylights were fitted perfectly, and the whole roof looks fantastic. You can tell these guys take real pride in their work and pay attention to the details that matter.

I found Ben and Alex on google to redo my gutters, from start to finish they were upfront and honest. They got the job done in no time and I couldn't be happier!
Google - David Ball Google Review
Highly recommend Alex and his team. He took the time to inspect the project and find out what I needed before making his recommendations. Excellent communication and project management he kept me informed of project start date, turned up on time, and kept a tidy worksite. Excellent quality of work, and took the time to customise the fitting and installation due to the quirky nature of my home.

Roofing in Warburton
Yes. Warburton is in the Shire of Yarra Ranges and we travel to it from Rowville, and for commercial and industrial work we go Victoria wide.
In continuous runs rather than scattered days. The crew and the materials arrive together and the job keeps moving, so the roof is not left half open while we are working elsewhere. The dates go in the quote.
Usually, yes. A flashing or valley that copes with light rain can be overwhelmed by volume, so the fault is in how water is being directed rather than in an obvious hole. We look for the cause rather than waiting for the right weather to show it to us.
No. Metal is our specialty, so we do not re-bed, re-point or patch tiles. Converting a tile roof to Colorbond is something we do often and that is the option we can quote on.
It leaves with us. Old sheeting, tiles, battens and offcuts are all carted away, and asbestos cement sheeting is removed under our licence and taken to compliant disposal.
Every suburb in the shire, with Millgrove, Yarra Junction, Launching Place and Woori Yallock among the closest, plus the councils around the shire.

Roof Replacement and Re-Roofing
Replacement becomes the answer when repairs stop holding, and that threshold is clearer than people expect. Once the laps have opened along their length and the fixings no longer grip, every repair is working against a covering that has given up. We strip it back, inspect and photograph the battens and the frame while they are exposed, and show you what is there before anything is covered again. Then the new Colorbond goes on with all new flashings and the old roof leaves with us.

Tile to Metal Conversions
Since we do not re-bed or re-point tiles, a tired tile roof puts you in front of a straightforward choice: keep paying a tile specialist to maintain it, or change the roof once. Converting to steel replaces the entire weatherproofing system rather than treating the latest symptom. The tiles and old battens are loaded and carted away as part of the job. The weight coming off the frame is a structural change, so engineering input and a permit are settled before work begins.

Roof Repairs
The hardest leaks to locate are the ones that only show in driving rain, because the roof looks faultless on a dry day. They tend to come from details that cannot cope with volume: a valley too shallow for the water arriving, a flashing lapped the wrong way round, or a collar that has pulled away from a flue. Water then travels along battens and rafters before dropping, so the ceiling stain is a poor guide. We trace the path instead of sealing the nearest join.
Gutters, Box Gutters and Downpipes
An overflowing gutter does its damage out of sight. Water goes over the back rather than the front, runs down the inside of the fascia and into the eaves, and by the time the wall is marked the timber has usually suffered. The cause is normally capacity rather than debris, with downpipes too small or too few for the roof above. We size the drainage against the real catchment and replace gutters, downpipes, rainheads and box gutters.

Metal Cladding
Cladding puts roof material on a wall, which means the same lifespan and no repainting cycle. It is most useful on upper levels, gable ends and additions, the parts of a building that are hardest to maintain. Colorbond is the usual answer and relates naturally to the roof, while zinc, copper and aluminium are installed where the material is meant to be noticed. The battens and drainage behind the sheets get the same care as a roof junction.

Commercial Roofing
Halls, shops, workshops and community buildings all need the roof dealt with while they stay in use, and that constraint shapes the whole job. We replace the sheeting in sections across a live site, close the roof each evening, and set the program around when the building is occupied. Commercial and industrial work takes us Victoria wide, so the distance is not the deciding factor. Whoever is responsible for the building gets the scope and the staging in writing before we start.
